How to Save a Video Quote from Playphrase.me

Playphrase.me editorial

Choose the clip first, then open Download for that specific result. You can save it as a video, adjust the frame and subtitles, or keep only the audio.

Choose the exact clip before downloading

Open Clip Search and search for nice to meet you. If a result already looks right, use the download button on its card. The Download dialog opens for that exact clip without taking you into the full-screen viewer.

Open the card first if you want a larger preview. In the viewer, Download video applies to the clip that is open at that moment. Move to another clip, and that clip becomes the download target.

Set up the video

Video is the default mode. Video Size offers square, vertical, and horizontal sizes. Choose a shape that suits the material, or leave the selected option unchanged when you have no special size requirement.

Karaoke Subtitles adds text to the finished video; it does not record your voice. Turn on Enable Karaoke Subtitles to reveal three more settings:

  • Translate Language adds a separate translation block. Choose -- Select a language -- when you do not want a translation.
  • Font Size controls the size of the English line.
  • Translation Font Size controls the size of the translation.

Turn subtitles off to hide those fields and produce a video without added text.

Save audio without the video

Turn on Audio only when you do not need the picture. The video settings disappear, and Audio Format appears with four choices: M4A, MP3, WAV, and FLAC. The primary action changes from Download Video to Download Audio.

Prepare and save the file

Review the settings, then select Download Video or Download Audio. The file is prepared inside the same dialog. When it is ready, the browser saves it in the usual way.

If preparation fails, the error stays in the dialog. Check the selected settings and try again; there is no need to find the clip a second time.
