How to open random phrases and words
On a computer, Playphrase.me lets you change listening material from the keyboard. Choose the list you want to work with, then open random entries from its current page.

Each press changes the query and opens videos for the chosen phrase or word. Press again for another entry on the same page. Entries do not repeat until the page has been completed.
Choose the pool first
Set a level or topic in Common Phrases, a level range and any useful restrictions in Vocabulary, or your own collection in Favorites. Random selection uses the resulting list, so choosing the material remains your decision.
For example, choose everyday vocabulary, then move between words without scanning the entire list each time. A random word automatically turns on Focused playback, trimming videos to the word and a little surrounding speech. The keyboard shortcut for random Favorites also turns it on. Use the scissors button to turn it off when you need the complete line.
When the page runs out of entries, the site offers to replay it or move on. Shuffle in Favorites does something different: it changes the collection's order. Use the shortcut in the table to open the next random entry.
